Collaboration with Anart Theatre

A classic fairytale retold with platforms and hoodies. The royal family are rather odd and the fairies are not as nice as they look. What is poor Sleeping Beauty to do? (Disco, of course...)

Hidden Tentacle Arts has indeed been busy (and, well... hidden) with a collaborative project with Anart Theatre. Rehearsals began in September and soon took on a life of its' own with a unique viewpoint and a carefree sense of humour.

This piece was devised by an integrated cast of people with learning disabilities and people without and performed at City Screen Basement Bar in York on December 13th and was a roaring success.

Hidden Tentacle Arts contributed to the production in several ways, including the building of a six foot castle turret and the making of some truly odd costumes.
